Ross and David – Runners Up in the EKKA Fours

Ross Brokate, David Long and teammates receiving their prize after doing the Sorell Bowls Club proud on the Sunshine Coast. They were taking part in the prestigious EKKA Men’s Fours conducted annually at the Maroochydore Bowls Club.

David and Ross put their names down and were joined by a New Zealander and a South Australian; they gelled well as a team.  After three games of 15 ends (in a field of 41 teams) they finished the day just one point behind the winners. They were very unlucky not to win, needing only to win one more end to tie and win overall on a count-back.
