We mourn the passing of Bev Bennetts

22-8-1937 to 15-6-2023

We are saddened to hear of Bev’s passing. We all appreciated Bev’s commitment to bowls, and the encouragement and support she gave to us after her retirement.  Bev will be missed around our club. 

Bev played bowls at St John’s Park Bowls Club, where she was a Past Ladies President (2000 & 2001) and won the Ladies Singles Championship in 2001.  When her late husband Greg retired, they moved to Sorell, and both joined out club.

At Sorell, Bev won the Ladies Open Pairs in 2006, the Ladies Open Triples in 2005, 2009, 2014, and 2016, and the Ladies Open Fours in 2004, 2011, and 2015, 2016.

Now resting with her beloved husband Greg.  Our condolences to Trish, Bob and all her family.
